    Philips has recently discovered that the use of a 12-lead ecg monitoring derivative with specific configuration on the affected monitors and modules in these devices does not trigger an st-segment elevation alarm, which could cause treatment delays.   only hexad functionality is affected by the problem. all other ecg monitoring functionality works the way it does it is indicated.
