    In agreement with Afssaps, the company BioMérieux, informed the 13/11/2007, the users of blood culture bottles called BacT / ALERT FA of the withdrawal of two lots. In France, only users who received the two incriminated lots are affected by this withdrawal and have been notified via the enclosed mail (15/11/2007) (27 KB). The competent European authorities have been informed of this measure by the manufacturer. This information is intended for laboratory managers, directors of health establishments and local correspondents of reactive vigilance for distribution to the concerned biology departments.
