    The manufacturer states that it has detected that the alaris syringe pumps and the nipro syringes are no longer compatible, therefore, the nipro brand syringes were removed from the list of syringes compatible with the equipment, the use of the equipment with a nipro syringe can cause problems such as inability to program and start the infusion until the precision in the delivered volume, leading to potentially adverse events on the patient.
