    Following an internal review zimmer gmbh has identified a subset of zimmer natural nail cm long - cephalomedullary nails that required additional testing to ensure sterile barrier integrity of the packaging. in about 5% of tested samples the outer tray of the double barrier sterile packaging was found to be compromised but none that suggested that the sterility of the inner tray was affected.
